Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion
Shifting and strengthening the power of leaders closest to the frontlines of social justice isn’t just what we do—it’s who we are.
Why Justice, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion?
Everything we do begins with justice. Without it, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts can feel performative—equitable in theory but not in practice. Our commitment to Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) is a commitment to action and accountability. It’s about shifting resources and power to community leaders and organizations that have historically been denied both, ensuring that philanthropy truly supports transformative change.
Our Commitment
JEDI is a journey, not a destination. Our commitment is to continuously cultivate partnerships that shift and strengthen the power of communities historically denied influence, directing the resources they need to make sustainable systems change a reality.
What does this look like in practice?
It means championing social justice philanthropy, mobilizing resources to support leaders closest to these communities, investing in community-centered change, and developing clear JEDI indicators to hold ourselves accountable.
